During a January 2019 survey in the United States, 45 percent of participants who identified themselves as disabled said that they believe diversity and inclusion initiatives give people opportunities that they are either unqualified for, or do not deserve. In comparison, only 19 percent of Black participants felt the same way. All survey participants were full-time working professionals.
