During a 2020 survey carried out among senior level communications and marketing professionals in the United States, 11.8 percent of in-house comms specialists stated that due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic they were struggling with the adoption of latest technology and data tools. In contrast, the same was rue for 6.1 percent of agency based communications professionals.
