The most common reason among mutual fund investors in Canada to not include responsible investment in their portfolio in 2020 was because of lack of knowledge. Almost one quarter of respondents stated never having heard of it, and 17 percent stated that their advisor had never told them about it. 13 percent worried that they would not get the same return when including responsible investments.
