Latin America: seat capacity in air passenger transport 2020, by subregion
In December 2020, passenger airlines operating in South America had a combined number of nearly 13 million seats available, over five million of the seats offered in Central America. A year earlier, Brazil was the Latin American country with the largest number of air passengers.
