Share of active social media users in Tunisia 2018, by platform
As of December 2018, Facebook was the leading social media platform in Tunisia, being actively used by 85 percent of the country’s internet users. The popularity of Facebook was not comparable to the usage of other most common social media platforms worldwide such as YouTube, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Moreover, only six and three percent of the internet users in Tunisia were actively engaging on Twitter and Snapchat, respectively.
