Binge-viewing TV worldwide 2020, by country
A global study held in the third quarter of 2020 revealed that Chinese consumers are the most likely to binge-watch television, with 68 percent saying that they often watched multiple episodes of the same show back-to-back. TV fans in the United States were also very likely to do so, along with consumers in Argentina and Mexico. Whilst TV viewers in some markets were more prone to binge-viewing than others, the share of those who did so was above 60 percent in every country presented in the chart. From the Middle East to Scandinavia, binge-watching TV is an increasingly popular pastime.
