In a survey conducted in September 2020, regarding the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) on sustainability behavior of consumers in India, 21 percent of the respondents stated that the relative importance of sustainability while choosing a brand or a retailer when shopping is significantly more because of the coronavirus pandemic. About 20 percent of the respondents stated that there was no change in their sustainability behavior.
