In November 2020, a survey found that 27 percent of Spanish respondents consider mental health problem more serious than physical health problems, in contrast nine percent of Spaniards believed the opposite. However, in the United Kingdom 77 percent of respondents considered both mental and physical health problems to be equally serious. Across all European countries surveyed, the majority share of respondents considered both problems to be equally important.
