While the use of teleworking is gradually becoming more widespread, the source was interested in assessing the proportion of employees regularly using teleworking in France between 2017 and 2020, depending on their gender. Among all male employees, 12.5 percent had recourse to teleworking on a regular basis in 2020, approximatively two percent less than female employees (14.3 percent).

The European Union Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS) provides population estimates for the main labour market characteristics, such as employment, unemployment, inactivity, hours of work, occupation, economic activity and other labour related variables, as well as important socio-demographic characteristics, such as sex, age, education, household characteristics and regions of residence.
