An agreement can be either collective or individual. A collective agreement is concluded between the employer and a trade union organization and aims to establish rules for working conditions, employment or social guarantees for employees. Unlike a collective convention, a collective agreement regulates one or more very specific subjects (salaries, complementary health care) and not the working conditions as a whole. An individual agreement, is in fact a direct agreement, formal or not, between the employer and a single employee.
