Tunisia: secondary school students 2015-2021

In the 2020/2021 academic year, around 1.1 million students were enrolled in middle (or lower secondary) and secondary (or upper secondary) schools in Tunisia. From 2015 onwards, the number of students increased annually, except for a decline in 2016/2017. In the same period, public middle and secondary schools in the country were attended by more girls than boys.
