Average expenditure of online shoppers during Black Friday in France 2017-2020

The announcement of containment in 2020 has already launched the battle of Back Friday purchases earlier than previous editions in France. During the Black Friday in December 2020, the average expenditure fell down to 97 euros on average, compared to 123 euros back in 2018. Thus, the average amount that French consumers were ready to spent during this promotional time fell gradually since 2017, reaching an all-time low in 2020.
