Share of energy consumption in Algeria 2021, by source
In 2021, most of Algeria's energy consumption was constituted by gas, corresponding to around 67 percent of the total consumption. Moreover, oil products made up 32 percent of the country's energy consumption. Overall, most of the energy consumed in the country was derived from fossil fuels.
