In 2023, the Peruvian fintech landscape was dominated by three key segments. Lending was the largest, comprising nearly 25 percent of all fintech companies in the country. Wealth management ranked second, accounting for slightly over 20 percent of Peru's fintechs. Payments and remittances rounded out the top three, representing 16.6 percent of fintech companies. These three segments collectively accounted for over 60 percent of Peru's fintech market in 2023, highlighting their significant role in the country's financial technology sector.
