Cumulative number of COVID-19 deaths in Eswatini from April 2020 to March 2022
As of March 7, 2021, Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland, registered 1,391 coronavirus (COVID-19) deaths. The first victim from the country to lose his life from the pandemic was reported on April 16, 2020. Since then, the highest daily casualties was recorded on the 20th as well as on the 26th of January, with 24 deaths. Moreover, as of August 8, 2021, Eswatini had already registered roughly 31.1 thousand infections, with 23.5 thousand recoveries.
