* Special Drawing Right (SDR) is an international reserve asset, functioning as a currency developed by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the 1950s. Compared to any other national currencies, a basket of currencies determines the value of SDR, namely the U.S. dollar, the euro, the Chinese renminbi, the Japanese yen, and the British pound sterling.
As of November 29, 2021, one SDR was worth approximately 1.39 U.S. dollars.
