In a survey conducted in July 2020, regarding the preferred book format type for reading during coronavirus (COVID-19) in India, 64 percent of the respondents under the age of 34 years, preferred to spend more time on reading print books. E-books were preferred by 34 percent of the respondents above the age of 35.
