Monthly Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Tunisia 2019-2024
In May 2024, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Tunisia stood at 175.7 points, with 2015 as the base year (=100). From January 2019 onwards, the CPI in the country generally increased or remained stable each month, except for June 2020 when it decreased slightly. The CPI refers to the weighted average of a selected basket of goods and services, which reflects the buying habits of average consumers. Thus, it measures changes in prices and the purchasing power of consumers.
