Two in three Italian people have their coffee at breakfast, a survey from 2020 revealed. Another 62 percent of respondents stated they had coffee after lunch or in the early afternoon. Only 22 percent of consumers stated they had coffee in the late afternoon.
The survey question was phrased by the source as follows: "In quali fra questi momenti della giornata ti capita di consumare caffè? Seleziona tutte le risposte che ritieni opportune."
