Level of interest in eSports events in Italy 2020, by macro-region
According to a December 2020 survey, the Islands (Sicily, Sardinia) was the macro-region in Italy recording the highest share of individuals following eSports events regularly. About 11 percent of the respondents from this area claimed to follow eSports events at least once a week, while six percent of residents in the Islands did so every day or almost every day. Conversely, 64 percent of North-East residents did not show any interest in eSports events.
