Less than 20 percent of the blockchain startups in Brazil are managed by women. As of November 2020, digital security was the blockchain segment with the highest share of women shareholders in the South American country, with nearly 18 percent. Financial services followed with close to 12 percent. Meanwhile, blockchain startups under marketing and social media did not have any women shareholder.
