Over the considered years, the number of fixed-line voice channels used in the Hungarian residential sector gradually decreased. The majority of landline voice channels used by household customers in Hungary were based on VoIP technology during this period. In the second quarter of 2023, over 795 thousand VoIP voice channels, and approximately 66 thousand analog phone connections were used in the residential sector.
