A large portion of professional ETF investors in the Greater China area noted they did not plan to invest in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) ETFs in the coming 12 months due to concerns about the price and performance of ESG ETFs. Similarly, 49 percent of European respondents were also concerned about ESG ETF performance, with 43 percent being concerned about price. While a lower portion of Americans, 20 percent, were concerned about price, 80 percent of U.S. respondents were planning against ESG ETF investment due to lack of consistent framework and methodology.
