According to a survey, more than three-quarters (78 percent) of Peruvians said they had made a purchase or order through a web page. However, social commerce has gained relevance in the South American country, with 39 percent of respondents stating that they used Facebook as a shopping channel, and 36 percent reported using WhatsApp as an e-commerce tool.
