According to a 2020 survey, fund managers believed the most likely way to grow the fixed income exchange traded fund (ETF) market is to expand the range of EFT products. Almost seven out of 10 respondents selected this response. Some options suggested for increasing the range of products is to expand the duration of included assets, and diversification.
