One of the pillars of the Mexican government's strategy for distance learning in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic is the program "Aprende en Casa I". The project was created as means to provide the largest amount of students possible with the resources for distance learning during the lockdown. It constitutes television broadcasts created for each school level aired throughout the day, complemented by an online platform, and radio podcasts. According to an online survey carried out in the country in June 2020, "Aprende en Casa I" television programs were either regularly or always watched by close to 41 percent of surveyed students, while nearly a third of them admitted to never watching, or not knowing them.
