Share of people who bought an air conditioner in Japan 2020, by most recent purchase
According to a survey conducted in Japan in 2020, close to five percent of the respondents had purchased their most recent air conditioner in the last three months. By contrast, around seven percent had never purchased an air conditioner. Established brands for air conditioners in Japan include Mitsubishi Corporation, Calsonic Kansei Corporation and Fujitsu Limited.
