According to a survey among coworking operators senior executives, equity investors, traditional landlords, lenders, and brokers in the United States and Europe, coworking has had an effect on the average terms of traditional office leases. Approximately 83 percent of coworking operators believed that it has led to shorter leases. In contrast, only half of traditional office landlords felt that this was the case. Coworking spaces, unlike traditional offices, offer members a workspace that is not attached to a specific business.
