In Bogotá, 74,600 square meters of gross leasable area of shopping centers were added thanks to new development projects, such as new centers or extensions of existing centers in 2019. This was the largest addition among the cities presented in the statistic. In 2018, Medellín was the city that contributed the most to the new GLA in shopping centers with 187,203 square meters.
