As of June 2020, Bac Lieu was the province that received the most foreign direct investment (FDI) capital in Vietnam. The province secured four billion U.S. dollars from the beginning of 2020 till June 2020. Ha Nam and Hai Phong were also among the top three, receiving respectively around 450 million U.S. dollars and 400 million U.S. dollars.
