Share of environmentally aware tourists in Latin American countries 2019-2020
According to a survey carried out in July 2020, Colombians were the most environmentally aware travelers among the Latin American countries analyzed. That year, more than seven in ten Colombian respondents were aware that tourism could have a negative impact on the environment and therefore planned on having environmentally conscious travels and avoid overturistic destinations.
