In fiscal year 2022, Air India Ltd. had 165 airplanes in its fleet. Its fleet comprised mostly of Boeing, and Airbus aircrafts. The headquarters of Air India Ltd. is in New Delhi, and its main subsidiary Air India is the national airline of India. Air India is one of the largest carriers in India. The Government of India handed over Air India to Tata Group in January 2022.
