The number of international pilots with foreign aircrew temporary authorization (FATA) rose to 892 in 2019. With 151 FATAs, the highest number of these licenses were issued to Iranian pilots. This was followed by pilots from the European region and the United States, with 100 and 50 pilots respectively. In all, India availed services from pilots across 69 countries during the measured time period.
