The current health crisis is likely to have had various consequences on the purchasing behaviors and habits of people in France. The purchase of Christmas gifts is no exception, and it seems that this year, Christmas shopping is taking a different turn than in previous years. And indeed, by mid-November 2020, a little less than half of the French people reported being late in preparing and buying their Christmas gifts, while only 17 percent of them said they were rather early.
