Perception of Africans on positive influence of China, by country 2019-2021
In Benin, 88 percent of citizens considered the Chinese economical and political influence in their country as "somewhat positive" or "very positive" between 2019 and 2021. A high share, over or equal to 80 percent, was also measured in Cabo Verde, Eswatini, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Morocco. On the other, only 30 percent of the respondents had the same perception in Tunisia. On average, over 60 percent of Africans evaluated China as a positive influence.
