According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in August 2024, 23 percent of respondents in the Philippines stated that they stopped using such apps because they no longer needed it. They said they already met their current partner outside the app. The same survey revealed that 60 percent of Filipinos stopped using the mobile dating app that they had used in the past year.
