Latin America & Caribbean: quarterly airport revenue 2020, by scenario
As of August 2020, airports in Latin America and the Caribbean could generate revenues of nearly four billion U.S. dollars by the end of that year, registering a reduction of nearly 6.5 billion U.S. dollars in relation to the estimates made for 2020 prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. With 2.3 billion U.S. dollars (or about 35 percent) less than previously estimated, that year's second quarter is expected to be the most harmful on the region's airport industry. In 2018, Latin American and Caribbean airports handled the movement of 8.6 million aircrafts.
