Production volume of wood fuel in Ghana 2010-2022
In 2022, an estimated 52.8 million cubic meters of wood fuel was produced in Ghana, a higher production quantity compared to the previous year. The production of non-coniferous wood fuel recorded a progressive increase from 2010 onwards. Overall, fuelwood is mostly used for cooking by the rural population in Ghana.
