As of September 2020, for three out of ten respondents in Brazil the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions by the government would not be an enough reason to return to their usual out-of-home life. To do so, another requirement would have to be met as well. On the other hand, 20 percent of Brazilians surveyed said they will go back to their normal businesses outside their homes as soon as the government lifts restrictions. As of June of that year, nearly half of Brazilians reported being very afraid to get infected by the coronavirus.
