According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in September 2020, about 44 percent of Vietnamese respondents between 25 to 34 years stated that they used mobile dating apps because such apps enabled them to meet with people they would otherwise never have crossed paths with. The same survey found that around 46 percent of respondents in Vietnam used mobile dating apps.
