During the second quarter of 2023, Ghana's highest government spending by the giving of grants was allocated to the retention of internally generated funds, reaching an approximate amount of 1.85 billion Ghana cedi (GHS) (around 155 million U.S. dollars). Moreover, government spending on Ghana's National Health Fund reached a value of some 437 million GHS (roughly 36.6 million U.S. dollars).
