According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in August 2024, approximately 27 percent of female and 25 percent of male respondents in Singapore who did not use mobile dating apps stated that they did not do so as they thought that such apps were too superficial. The same survey found that around 76 percent of Singaporean respondents did not use mobile dating apps.
