Leading online channels for holiday shopping in France 2021
For the second year in a row, a wave of coronavirus infections hit France in the middle of the holiday season. For many consumers, digital channels were, once again, a popular shopping alternative to make their end-of-year purchases from the safety of their homes. According to a survey, the preferred online channel for that year's holiday shopping was online marketplaces, cited by 35 percent of French shoppers. It was followed by websites and social networks, with 24 percent and six percent of respondents.
