Colombia: preferred way to use Christmas bonus 2020

The Christmas bonus, commonly known as "La Prima" in Spanish, is an additional salary paid to the employee in two terms. The first half of the salary must be paid before June 20th of each year, and the second half is paid before December 20th of the same year. The second payment of this salary is also refer as the "Christmas bonus", in Spanish "La Prima Navideña". The value of this salary is proportional to the number of days worked by the employee during the year.
According to the source, 24.38 percent of respondents stated that they would use their Christmas bonus to pay debts. Meanwhile, 14.26 percent wanted to destine this money for gifts, and 12.41 would use it for clothing.
