Due to the health crisis of the COVID-19, the number of homes sold during the second and third quarters of 2020 has decreased compared to the same period in 2019. Thus, according to Groupe BPCE data, the share of French people, in April 2020, considering that it was not a good time to buy a home amounted to 28 percent, a proportion that doubled compared to the months of May and December 2019.
