During the first five months of 2020, the sales value of toys in Mexico dropped by seven percent in value, when compared to the same period of the previous year. In May alone, sales of these products declined by 17 percent. In 2019, the Mexican toy industry generated a revenue of nearly three billion Mexican pesos.
