Import value of fuel into Angola 2012-2021
As of 2021, Angola imported fuel in the value of nearly 1.4 billion U.S. dollars. In 2020, imports of fuel amounted to 924 million U.S. dollars, the lowest value since 2012. Despite being one of the largest oil producers in Africa, Angola relies on imports to supply the national fuel consumption.
