Change in demand for skiing activities in France for the 2019-2020 winter season

For the majority of the ski resorts included in the study, there is either a stabilization or an increase in the demand for skiing activities.
The only activity that is declining slightly is Nordic skiing. Only 18 percent of the ski resorts recorded an increase in demand from vacationers for this activity in 2019-2020. Skiing is still the most popular activity, with higher demand than the year before.
The 2019-2020 season was exceptionally short due to sanitary conditions and the start of the confinement period on March 16, 2020 in France.
