Enterprises are expected to spend more on 5G edge equipment and services according to a 2019 5G edge report. Within one to two years, 33 percent of respondents expected their enterprise customers to spend between 21 and 30 percent more on the said solutions. In the long run (beyond two years), nine percent of respondents expected more than 50 percent spending growth on 5G edge offerings from their customers.
