According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in August 2024, approximately 34 percent of Indonesian respondents between 25 to 34 years stated that they primarily used mobile dating apps for meeting new people and finding a long-term romantic partner or relationship. The same survey found that around 30 percent of Indonesian respondents used mobile dating apps
